Frequently asked questions
Everything people usually ask before their first build.
What exactly does VanillaAi generate?
An index.html, stylesheets and scripts — plain files with no compilation step. You can open them in a browser directly from your desktop.
Can I keep editing after generating?
Yes. Keep chatting to refine the site, or export the ZIP and edit by hand. Nothing you export depends on VanillaAi to keep working.
Can I use a JavaScript library?
Paid plans can include CDN libraries such as Alpine.js, htmx or Web Components. These load in the browser, so there is still no bundler or install step.
How do I publish?
Publish from the preview pane to get a shareable URL. You can also host the exported files on any static host, CDN or your own server.
Is my work private?
Projects are private to your account unless you publish them. Published sites are publicly readable by design. See the privacy policy for details.
What if I hit my plan limit?
You can still open, edit and export existing projects. Request an upgrade from your account page to raise project and file limits — see pricing.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual projects from your dashboard, or contact us to remove your account entirely.
